ADM, Nutraceutix Align; ADM Reorganizes
Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), Decatur, IL, has executed an exclusive licensing agreement for ADM to use Nutraceutix’ patented controlled delivery technology (CDT™) to develop and market dietary supplements. ADM will market its products using this technology on an exclusive global basis to dietary supplement manufacturers. The first product to be marketed is Novasoy® Daily Dose™. This once-a-day supplement provides a steady delivery of soy isoflavones throughout the day.
In other news, ADM’s Specialty Ingredients division is restructuring its sales and marketing organization. The division has organized its sales and marketing units into several key areas including meat; nutrition; baking, cereals and snacks; beverages; confectionery; pharmaceutical; personal care; industrial and food processing. ADM Specialty Ingredient products include soy proteins, lecithin and monoglycerides, citric acid, xanthan gum, sorbitol, lactic acid, edible beans, emulsifiers and bakery mixes.
